A complete Online Business Intelligence solution

The user-friendly and interactive aspects of web-based platforms are becoming more and more important for users of Business Intelligence solutions. As such, Bittle has an ergonomic BI portal where the focus is on usability. In a few clicks you can easily create dashboards or use our customisable dashboard templates.

Dashboards and reports

A complete Online Business Intelligence solutionA graphic rich library allows you to view your performance indicators in various visual forms (gauges, bar charts, counters, etc). You can also analyse your data in a myriad of ways through the filtering system, which can filter by time and date or by category, allowing you to examine your data in the finest detail.
Finally, as with the dashboards, you can create your analysis reports by yourself or using Bittle’s own report templates.

The other functionalities

Indicator management

To help you start navigating your data quickly, bittle has a performance indicator library for each of your company’s business activities (HR, Marketing, Sales, Finance, ITIT, etc). So after you’ve selected your desired indicators, you simply have to feed in your data using our connection module.

Bittle also lets you create your own performance indicators and manage the accessibility rights via user profiles. Thresholds, alerts, graphic styles…everything is completely customisable for each indicator.

User access management

Bittle is a multi-user, multi-profile online Business Intelligence (BI) solution. You can manage a set of profiles in the administration module, giving users different rights of access to the dashboards, performance indicators or reports.

For example, it is possible to set the reading and/or editing rights, by indicator and by user. So, users will only have access to the information which concerns them and will only be able to create and modify new indicators, dashboards and reports if their access rights permit them to do so.

Connectivity

Bittle allows your data to be easily and automatically uploaded using different connection modules:
  • DataAnalyser: automatic or manual processing of your CSV, Excel or XML files from any source application.
    • DataMailAnalyser: send your data by email if the source application has this functionality. The content will then be automatically analysed by our module.
    • WebAnalyser: communication with third party applications via SOAP technologies (Web Services).

The nature of the connection modules means your data is automatically retrieved and processed. Bittle achieves this by identifying the data type (e.g. turnover, workforce, project name, etc) and feeding it directly to the corresponding performance indicator.

Bittle also increases productivity by highlighting possible new indicators which can be fed from the source data supplied.

    Export and sharing

What good would a collaborative solution be without the ability to share information? Bittle’s BIShare module enables you to share your own dashboards and indicators with all or some of the people using your solution. If desired, they can then integrate the shared elements into their own environment.

Export functions are also available and enable you to create Excel or PDF versions of your dashboards and email them to a colleague if required.

    Multidimensional analysis

Bittle Bittle enables you to analyse your data in the finest of details, by allowing you to cross-check a multitude of data, in order to carry out multidimensional analysis.

For example, it is very easy for you to obtain, from the same table, turnover statistics by country, region, town, product, and organisation (brand name, sales manager, sales rep, etc.).

    Alerts and action plans

Each performance indicator has a threshold, which the user can adjust, and which represents a target value to reach or a limit which must not be passed. Alerts can be defined based on these thresholds in order to warn the user (or anyone else concerned) of the indicator’s progress.

Bittle also makes it possible to create action plans for each indicator, share them and follow their progress.
